"Bringing Christ to People and People to Christ"

Brenda Scoulding

Last Sunday (23 May) Brenda Scoulding was enrolled as a Soldier at Evesham by Corps Officer Lt. Paul Stanford.

The meeting was led by Brenda’s son and daughter-in-law, Cadets Steve and Mel Scoulding, currently in training at William Booth College, London, to become Salvation Army officers. Brenda became a Christian through the Alpha Course and now leads Evesham’s thriving CAMEO club (click here for information on Chatham’s Cameo Club). She was previously an Adherent at Chatham and we wish her every blessing as she takes this next step of faith.

Our correspondent Jean Jones writes   Brenda’s enrolment went well and she testified to the fact that since 2004 when she gave her heart to the Lord she had grown in understanding of the importance of the Bible in her spiritual experience and her personal knowledge of God in her life.     She said that when she visited London to buy her uniform, and tried it on in the fitting room, she looked at herself in the mirror and realised that she was where she belonged, as a soldier of the Salvation Army.
