Commanding Officer’s Award

In February, 34 Young People from the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers attached to The Salvation Army here in Chatham, were presented with the new Commanding Officers Award by their CO, Major Nigel Schultz.

The young people learnt about the history of The Salvation Army, the Flag, our building and what Nigel does. They also each took part in an act of Worship.

The Commanding Officers Award is one of 4 new Awards introduced at the beginning of the year to promote knowledge of The Salvation Army in Guide and Scout groups linked to Salvation Army corps.
