People are our business, from whatever walk of life they come. Here are two occasions on which people, or a single person, have featured recently.

Each month the Cameo Club holds a birthday party. All those with a birthday in that month are featured. Here are (L to R) Joan, Andrea, Carol and Betty, the four ladies with birthdays in March. Cameo worker Barbara is holding the cake.

Nigel Day approached The Salvation Army at Chatham just over a year ago following a TV programme in which the local corps (church) was featured. He had recognized our building and liked what we were doing in the community. ‘How can I help?’ said Nigel. Following discussions he became one of our principle advisers for the ‘One2One’ Employment Plus programme which was just being launched. Now, a year on, Nigel is moving to France to live and this week he was given a send-off with cake and a lot of thanks for the wonderful work he has done in helping those less fortunate in society.
