There is to be a meeting at 4.30pm this Sunday, 5th July at the Church Street Hall for the purpose of telling people what the alternative arrangements will be while the foyer and back of the main hall is being developed.

Chatham Songsters under the leadership of Adrian Horwood visited the Belfast Sydenham Corps last week-end and had a Spirit-filled time with the people of East Belfast. The months of planning by both the Sydenham and Chatham leaders meant that all details were covered, from transport, to hospitality, to worship and singing. Some of the Songsters travelled on early (8.15am) flights from Stansted and another group followed at 12. Here are some of the arrivals:

They say a change is as good as a rest! Jean has recently enjoyed the trip of a lifetime to the Holy Land and has kindly taken time out to write about it. The annual Service of Remembrance organised by Medway Council will take place on Sunday 28 June at Medway Crematorium, Robin Hood Lane.
In keeping with the tradition of many years the Band will be providing music and accompaniment for the hymns. This year our Songsters will not be attending due to their engagement in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The service is usually attended by several hundred people, most of whom have friends and relatives who have passed through this beautiful place on their final journey.
