Resources
The resources group exists to support the purposes of our Corps in Chatham.
The objectives are to identify resources required to support the development of projects and programme approved by the Leadership team after prudent assessment of those needs, offering help and support to the leaders of those projects to ensure they are viable. Examples of this are the Financial Counselling service (see Community), and the Corps website.
The group is led by Richard Craik and includes the finance personnel (Treasurer and Secretary) and others who can support by fund-raising or bring project management skills to current and future developments
This is a broad remit and, as well as including oversight of the finances, covers maintenance of existing, and provision of new, equipment needed to support the purposes of the Corps.
A major resource is, of course, our premises and the group is involved in ensuring this asset is maintained to a good standard whilst looking also to what may be required in the future. At present there is some uncertainty in this area, and we are considering our options for developing the buildings to create more flexibility of use and additional services for the Chatham community.
This could present some exciting opportunities, but also some challenges as we look towards our future. If you are interested and would like to know more please contact us.
