Friday evening saw the first of our new monthly Prayer & Praise Venture for youngsters aged from 7yrs – 16yrs old.

On Saturday the newly refurbished foyer/cafe area was officially opened by Commissioner John Matear in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Medway, Cllr. Barry Kemp.
For those of you who wake up to the radio on Sunday mornings, you’ll be interested to know that next Sunday, 17 January, the Sunday Worship programme on Radio 4, from 08.10 to 08.50 comes from Chelmsford Salvation Army with the International Staff Songsters taking a prominent part.

An introduction to a weekend of prayer in November.
Rehearsals began last Friday for the newly formed Community Gospel Choir in preparation for the Christmas Concerts at The Central Theatre on 28 November.
We wish to remind those readers who are able to attend our meeting tomorrow (13 September) that it will be held at Lordswood Junior School, Lordswood Lane, ME5 8NN. This is because of a long standing booking at Fort Pitt Grammar School, to which we shall return next week.
The Gospel Choir, recruited from our local community, meets for its first rehearsal on Friday (11 September). We shall be following its progress towards the Carol Concerts at Chatham’s Central Theatre (28 November) with interest.
