This week was the YP Annual when the children of KAOS were presented with their prizes and they presented individual musical items in a morning meeting organised by YPSM Tracy Wood. This week we have been bathing in the sunshine and it’s hard to believe that summer is over and harvesttime is here. On Saturday the Cadets of the Proclaimers of the Resurrection Session were officially welcomed to the newly re-opened William Booth College after its refurbishment.

Lt. Col. Ray Steadman Allen OF We begin by congratulating Lt. Col. Ray Steadman-Allen OF on attaining 89 years. His birthday celebrations were a public affair held at Maidstone Salvation Army on Saturday in the form of a fund-raising event for Joy’s Parkinson’s Project. A separate report on this event will be published tomorrow.

Here we are at the end of the summer holidays and today is the last public holiday before Christmas (ouch!). familiar?
During the past week some of our young people have received examination results. This is always a stressful time for those waiting to hear the news and a relief when the results have arrived.
