We have learned this week of the ‘Promotion to Glory’ of Major Peter Muller, known to a few older members of the Chatham Corps through his connection with us during the Second World War.

Alpha courses have been a regular feature of our corps programme for some years. This autumn we will be joining with other Town Centre churches to continue this programme.
A new Alpha Course, run jointly by the Chatham Town Centre Churches, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday 15 September at 7.30pm and to run for 12 weeks, finishing on 1 December. Friday evening saw the first of our new monthly Prayer & Praise Venture for youngsters aged from 7yrs – 16yrs old. The past week has been another eventful one at the Corps. On Wednesday the sixth course of Christianity for Life began with fourteen participants. The guest speaker was Nigel Day who contributed to the topic of ‘Belonging to the Church’.
February half term saw the first of our children’s outreach activities for 2010. This event was aimed at the families in the Shipwrights area, for children aged 8yrs-12yrs and took place at the Endeavour Foyer. The theme over the 3 days was ‘Great Stories’, and we shared the Bible stories of ‘Jonah and the Whale’, [...]
