The season of Mellow Fruitfulness, to quote the poet John Keats in ‘Ode to Autumn’, was the subject for the Cameo club to consider last week.

Did you know that you are more likely to live to be 100 years old if you were born in Autumn than in any other season of the year? That and other interesting facts were considered as those attending tried their hands at making small table decorations from natural autumn materials collected by Cameo leader Major Estelle Clack.

 

  

If you live in the local area why not come along and enjoy the company of new friends (and perhaps old ones too). The club meets at The Salvation Army, Church Street, Chatham, ME4 4BT on Wednesdays at 1.30pm (finishing 2.30pm approximately)
