Our second activity next Sunday will be at the Emmaus Church Centre at the unusual time of 4pm. This will be a ‘Songs of Praise’ arranged to coincide with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. It is hoped that a good congregation will gather. Tthe Salvation Army band will be accompanying the singing.

The final event of our weekend celebrations raised the spirits of all who attended, a praise meeting in the true sense of the word. Last Saturday evening was spent enjoying some great memories from former years and saw the return of a number of those who were ‘juniors’ or workers here to join in the celebrations. They were all young once!
