It has been ‘end of term’ for many of our groups and sections during the last couple of weeks as we approach the main holiday season.

No less than seven members of the corps will be involved as staff members at either the Divisional Summer School (6-13 August) or the two Children’s Camps (for underprivileged children and children at risk) held between 13 and 27 August at Vinehall School, Robertsbridge. Vinehall

There will only be one meeting held in the salvation army hall on Sunday (24 July). This will be at 10 am and be led by Ruth Hardy. The evening meeting will be held jointly with our friends at the Emmaus Church Centre and will be in their premises in Clover Street, starting at 6.30pm.

The meeting of the Ladies Fellowship this month was held at the home of Verna Smith and, for a change, the sun was shining so nineteen of us were able to sit around the garden and enjoy the surroundings as well as having time for chatting and laughing, and eating. none left!
