Once again the ladies, some with partners, enjoyed their Christmas meal at the Grangemoor Hotel, Maidstone.

Full halls greeted us this weekend for two beautiful, and at the same time spectacular, carol services. Guests were greeted at the door by members of the Band playing carols in the street which added to the atmosphere of the occasion.
Community Carol Service weekend is probably the busiest in the corps calendar. We are preparing a full report on these events which will appear tomorrow.
The National Health Service (Medway Community Healthcare) acknowledged the role played by volunteers in caring for the sick with a Carol Service in Rochester Cathedral on Wednesday evening. hearty singing

Last week we wrote about the cold weather and said that we had no snow. This week has changed all that. We know of one local church that cancelled its Sunday services as early as Thursday. But, on the other hand, the children have loved it as this picture shows.
