3 Peaks Update
The peak of success?
Chris Boughton (left), who recently completed the 3 Peaks Challenge tells us that the amounts raised in sponsorship for the event has risen to £452 for the Chatham Corps Building Fund and £395 for the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Unit at Medway Hospital. He is grateful for all who offered sponsorship and support and said “the challenge itself was an amazing experience – breathtaking, exhausting but truly unforgettable. I can only marvel at God`s creation!”.
For readers unfamiliar with the 3 Peaks Challenge it involves getting to the top of the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in the space of 24 hours. Chris succeeded with 5 minutes to spare. Congratulations to Chris and colleagues Iain, Jim and Colin.
