A stroll in the park
Not quite, but the sun did shine on the 38 participants in last Saturday’s sponsored event (walk/run) in Manor Park Country Park, West Malling.
Getting started
292 miles were covered in total by the participants who ranged in age from 1 to plenty. Current indications are that an amount in excess of £1650 has been raised. Anyone still wishing to donate may click here to do so.
Public awareness of the event was high and a number of donations were received from casual visitors to the tent who were supplied with Salvation Army publicity material as a recognition of their support. For further information please contact us.
