If any reader would like to support this initiative with prayer we would be most grateful. If you would like to be part of our prayer support group for his ministry please contact us and we will put you in contact with our Prayer Coordinator, Margaret Day, who will be delighted to hear from you. You can either support with prayer from home or join a rota of people who meet at our Church Street hall from 7.30 – 10.00pm. An hour or two of your time, even just a few minutes, would be gratefully received.

  1. General Bramwell Booth
Born in 1856, the eldest son of the Founder, William Bramwell Booth was appointed Chief of the Staff by his father in 1880. Constantly told, “Do something about it, Bramwell,” he became adept at often stretching the meager finances of The Salvation Army to meet it’s ever increasing commitments.(http://www.sacollectables.com/postcards_bios/bramwell.htm accessed 06.06.2010)

It is great to see the spirit of the Salvation Army is still alive and still ‘Doing Something’. Praise God!

Great work is being done for the Kingdom – you are always in our prayers ~ God Bless
