The Band and Songsters again took part in the annual Service of Remembrance at the Medway Crematorium.
As temperatures move nicely towards 30 degrees Celsius it is lovely to experience the warm summer weather. Who says it always rains for the Wimbledon tennis fortnight! Who will win?
This year’s Junior Soldiers’ Day of Renewal will be held on Sunday 11 July (10am). The special guest will be Divisional Children’s Officer Katherine Doncaster. As mentioned in Monday Spot our Songsters visited the Reading Central Salvation Army Corps last Sunday for the purpose of leading the worship and providing a musical ministry.
Not quite, but the sun did shine on the 38 participants in last Saturday’s sponsored event (walk/run) in Manor Park Country Park, West Malling. Getting started
On Saturday the sponsored event (walk/run) took place at Manor Park Country Park, West Malling, in aid of the Building Fund. Approximately 292 miles were walked (or run) and first indications are that over £1650 was raised. We’ll publish some pictures during the week ahead but here’s a couple for now.
