The Weekend
Do we need to be inspired after the General Election? Perhaps that depends on our own personal point of view.
A number of things are happening this weekend to inspire us.
This evening sees the restart of our Public House Ministry in attempt to get alongside people who feel the need for a means of sharing. Groups of two or three Salvationists will go to different venues and, with the agreement of landlords, will be available to any customer for conversation and expression of need. Please join with us in prayer for those who participate.
Our Sunday morning meeting (10am) will be led by Major Drew McCombe and will include musical ministry as well as congregational participation and good preaching. See the maps below to locate us.
Something extra special for Sunday evening! Richard Phillips, who grew up in Chatham and was for a time our Bandmaster, will be leading the 6pm meeting. This will be a service with a difference. Richard is a fine pianist and will share the gospel through his skills and his testimony. Richard is currently the Salvation Army Bandmaster at the Kettering Corps.
Anyone wishing to share with us this weekend wiil be most welcome.
