Plenty to interest you!
There’s loads to interest readers over the coming weekend.
This evening Lt. Col. Ray Steadman-Allen will be leading an ‘open’ Songster (choir) rehearsal. This means that anyone, including you, can join in and sing at the Colonel’s direction from 8pm at our Church Street hall. There will be refreshments and all those attending will be invited to sing with the Songsters on this coming Sunday morning (10am) when Ray will be leading a song rehearsed tonight. Sounds like a lot of fun and a chance to get to know some new friends so why not try it out. See these maps to find out where we are.

Whilst on the subject of Songsters why not join us for a concert on Saturday evening (7pm). This will be given by the group from Chelmsford and we know it will be a great evening. Same venue!
On Sunday Major Andy Cox, from Divisional Headquarters, will be leading our meetings (10am and 6pm) and whilst all this is going on our Scout and Guide groups will be very active as well. There’s a ‘Church Parade’ in the Sunday morning meeting when flags will be presented and then the St George’s Day Parade is in the afternoon. We’ll bring you some pictures of these events next week.
Wow! I’m breathless already!
