Christmas Parcels Delivered
Once again the delivery of Christmas parcels to those notified to us as being in particular need has been completed under the direction of Marjory Hudson.
Beginning her task in late summer Marjory has again compiled lists from various Medway agencies and supervised a team of hard working and willing volunteers to ensure that all needs known about are met. Parcels comprising food and gifts for the children and adults numbered several hundred as 114 families, including 306 children, 12 babies and a further 60 residents of local accommodation were catered for.
The pictures show the tidy pile of goodies as the work began, just two weeks ago. It did not remain tidy for long as boxes and bags were quickly arranged to meet particular family needs. We are grateful to all who helped with sorting, packing and distributing. Without you the task would have been onerous. With you it was a pleasure.
We pray that all our recipients will have a good Christmas.

Thank you from ALL the families that received a gift. I have had so many friends from New Road School ask for their thanks to be passed on. Its nice for Paula and I to be the face of the Army at school. God bless you all.
