This September we will say farewell to Steve and Mel Scoulding as they enter William Booth College, Denmark Hill, London to train as Salvation Army Officers. We are pleased to publish their testimony and will feature them throughout their training.

This has been the first weekend since the schools break up for the summer and there seems to be quite a number already on holiday. We pray that they will have a great time wherever they may have gone. Majors Drew and Beverley McCombe are amongst those taking a well earned break.

On 1 July 2009 the 7th Chatham Brownie and Guide Units were 50 years old having both been registered back in 1959. A special church parade was recently held to celebrate the occasion.
