Chatham’s 37 strong Salvation Army choir is to visit Belfast at the end of June (27th/28th). The choir will be visiting the Sydenham Salvation Army church in that city to present Christian music in concert and to lead the local worship.

The group is much travelled throughout England and Wales and has performed on the continent of Europe on a number of occasions having sung in Holland, France, and Switzerland during its recent history. This is the choir’s first visit to Northern Ireland and the first time it has travelled to an engagement by plane.

Enthusiasm is mounting and Leader Adrian Horward said “As with all our visits to other venues, the members are excited at the prospect of meeting colleagues in Belfast and sharing our Christian experience with them. We take with us a prayer and hope that, by sharing, we can encourage those we meet in their own unique situations and wherever they are in their faith”.
