Music Leaders’ Councils
Nine members of the Corps attended the Music Leaders’ Councils recently held at the William Booth College in South London. The event is traditionally held on the same weekend as the Gospel Arts Festival at The Royal Albert Hall.
The day was led by the Territorial Commander, Commissioner John Matear, and Commissioner Betty Matear and featured contributions from The International Staff Band and Songsters as well as other individual participants. Spending time together in this way gives music leaders an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with others having similar responsibilities and sharing similar interests. The territorial music leaders are available and matters of common interest can be discussed.
Commissioners Matear both encouraged the leaders present to be bold in leadership and to continue to care for and support those in their care.
