Strawberries and dream
For a special treat the Ladies Fellowship this month were invited to the home of Verna and Murray Smith to have a Strawberry Tea in the garden. The plan was to spend time relaxing in the sunshine (the dream) but the weather was a little inclement and so the evening was spent indoors instead.
time for reflection
It was a refreshing time of chatting and laughter and sharing enhanced by the strawberries and cream and modern cup cakes topped with strawberry icing. Ollie the dog was on his best behaviour and so were the ladies.
I’m hiding – too many girls!
Heather provided an epilogue in which she read a poem by Flora Larsson which told of the blessings of the garden with its brightly coloured flowers.
