On Good Friday this year, 10 April, there will be a morning service at 10.00am. In the evening there will be a showing of the film ‘The Passion of The Christ’ organised by the Fellowship Purpose Group. Further details to follow.

A successful Murder, Mystery evening was held last Saturday, 21st February. Here is a report by Sue and Peter Willard who were, coincidentally, part of the winning team ‘Tunbury Cops’. The Murder Mystery Event organised by the fellowship group on Saturday (21st) was great fun.
The meetings this week were conducted by Majors Drew and Beverley McCombe based around the themes in the morning ‘Follower of Jesus, to know and be known’ and in the evening ‘Model of Mission: Church growing in favour’. The next Alpha course is due to commence on Wednesday, 11 March. If you, or somebody you know, wants to know more about Jesus and what life is all about, why not make an appointment to come on Wednesday evenings to the Alpha course.
The Salvation Army’s mission for this year is ‘Discipleship’. Why not come on the next discipleship course ‘Christianity for Life‘? Everyone is welcome. The course commences on Wednesday 11 March
Today, 19 February 2009, Mrs. Dorothy Read celebrates her 100th birthday. What memories this lovely lady has of her family and friends at Chatham Corps. The Fellowship Purpose Group (Leader Sam Wood) has recently held a review of the Welcome Team initiative at the Corps which was launched in October 2008. Sam Wood The purpose of the Welcome Team is to ensure that everyone who visits Chatham Corps receives a greeting and all the information they need to feel welcomed.
