SA Pilgrimage in Rochester Cathedral

Our Wednesday Bible Study group met last week at Rochester Cathedral for a guided pilgrimage.  Major Beverley McCombe reports as follows: We had a great evening in Rochester Cathedral with a tour led by Canon Philip Hesketh.  This was a tour with a difference, using the cathedral for our own spiritual benefit.

Quiz Night

The January meeting of the Ladies Fellowship took the form of a Quiz Night and was open to the men also.  Just a small number gathered but with Major Beverley McCombe operating the computer the quiz teams attempted to keep up with the questions which came at quick speed from the Family Quiz DVD.

Light of the world

Light or darkness? On… off… on… off… I can flick the switch and get what I want – light or darkness. Light for seeing and working and playing.             Darkness for sleeping or hiding or escaping. But I can’t flick             the light of the created world                         on and off.
