Carol Concert at Dockyard Church
The annual Rainham Ladies Choir (Musical Director Brian Skinner) Carol Concert was held, in this their 50th year, in the Chatham Dockyard Church with the Chatham Band (Bandmaster Carl Woodman).

The evening comprised of community carol singing and a variety of Christmas music from the choir and band. There was also a euphonium solo, ‘Home on the Range’, played by Songster Leader Adrian Horwood which had nothing to do with Christmas but did encourage the listeners to invite Christ into their lives with the Salvation Army associated words ‘Come, beautiful Christ’.
