Evangelism Initiatives
We wish to remind readers of two evangelism initiatives which will be taking place soon.
The first consists of prayer evangelism which was to have taken place in the High Street this coming Saturday (30 August) and the following Saturday (6 September). We are sorry to announce that this Saturday’s event has been cancelled due to all suitable sites being previously booked by other groups but next week the event will take place as planned. The starting time will be 10.30am (meet at the Hall 10.15am) and the activity will continue until 12noon. This will be a further opportunity to engage with people and pray for them. It will further help promote the Alpha course which starts on 10 September, the following Wednesday.
The course will run each week starting at 7pm with the Alpha meal, and will be led by Major Drew McCombe together with Rod Tranah, Ruth and Paul Woodhouse. Readers wishing to join the course should contact us to register and receive more information. Alpha leaflets will be distributed in the town centre during the prayer evangelism sessions.
