Linda Tout MBE
Linda Tout, who is the Organiser of The Young Searchers Girls Club, went to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 11 December, to receive the MBE from Her Majesty The Queen.

Although this award was given for her work for youth in Kent, it also recognised the fact that she has steered 9 senior girls through to the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, one being a special needs girl which is a rarity.
A further 8 girls are working towards the Gold Award, their Service and Residential sections being completed in Tanzania in July next year.
