Local School in Choir Final
Our congratulations go to Featherby Infants School and leader Christine Lockwood for reaching the final of a competition for school choirs run by Invicta Radio.
Christine Lockwood
Christine is currently a member of our Songsters and was, for a period of about 10 years, our Singing Company Leader.
The competition final will take place next Monday at Dockside in Chatham when the top ten choirs, including Featherby, will be singing for the ‘top spot’. In addition the choir will be seen on GMTV on Tuesday 18 December sometime between 6.00 and 9.25am.

The choir comprises 19 children aged 6 and 7 and is pictured above with Christine (left), Headmistress Jane Thompson (centre) and Assistant Leader Jan Boddy.
