We are pleased to announce that the charity being supported at this years Central Theatre Carol Concerts is the Emmaus Medway Community Project of which General John Gowans (R) is chair of the Steering Group.

After a series of week-ends which could be described as extraordinary it was nice to relax and enjoy what some might call a ‘normal’ Sunday.

A distinguished guest for Band practice recently was Dudley Bright from Regent Hall corps whose ‘day job’ is Principal Trombone of the world famous London Symphony Orchestra.

We have already reported on the wedding which took place on Saturday. What a great day it was and a very tiring one for many people. The happy couple are now on their honeymoon and we are not giving away any secrets!

In our meeting last Sunday morning a young teenage Singing Company member read a poem she has recently written. Sometimes we forget that life can be difficult for our youngsters. Click here to read the poem and support with your prayers. Our kids deserve it!
