How’s your Appetite?
This is the question being asked by the Young Searchers. Do you like African food?

On Saturday 29 September our ‘Harvest Supper’ is being arranged by the group and this will be in the form of an African meal. Presenting the meal will be part of the ‘service’ section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme which some of the girls are working towards. The proceeds will go towards the cost of the Searchers proposed trip to Angola in 2008.
During the summer months Linda has led the group in a number of activities leading towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award including an expedition at Hopehill scout camp (Meopham) and two other expeditions in the Weald of Kent.
