Canadian Concerns

We have heard from our friends in the Montreal Citadel Corps, Quebec, Canada, that they have to find a new building, their existing and long standing church home, occupied by the Army since 1948, having been sold to an international business with premises next door (see links below).

As we ourselves are in a state of uncertainty about our own premises we can empathize with the corps in its time of decision making. We pray that God will guide those who have to bear the responsibility of moving this situation forward and, as a result, the Montreal Citadel Corps will emerge stronger and fitter to take God’s message to the people of its locality and beyond.

This situation will be made a matter of prayer within our corps here in Chatham, U.K. We urge our readers to also support our Canadian friends with prayer. May God bless you, Montreal.

  1. Here in Canberra, we were faced with a hard decision to move or to stay, over eight years we moved and since then the corps has grown from strength to strength, its on a thoroughfare to the local shopping mall and the public are always looking in to see what goes on at the Army and people are being saved. Praise God

  2. Our Friday Nigth Prayer Group will lift this to The Lord -
“You, LORD, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you. Trust in the LORD forever; he will always protect us.” Isaiah 26:3-4 GNB

  3. I sent a link to this site to soldiers and friends in Montreal Citadel and I received their thanks and appreciation that others far away are joining us in prayer for guidance to our new location - they were bouyed up by the realisation that we are not alone. Our thanks to fellow Salvationists in Chatham Corps for their support and encouragement.
