Only one sheep
When the children arrived for the ‘Mummy and Me‘ Carol Service and Party there was only one sheep. Most of the children (birth to 2 years) were dressed as angels and very fine the costumes were too. Parents had obviously been busy!

Major Kathy led a short series of carols and the children also sang some of their favourite rhymes before the arrival of Santa who distributed gifts to all of them. He even had one for a child who was there for the very first time. How did he know about that?
Just four members of the band together with our pianist helped with accompaniments which added to the flavour of the occasion.

Altogether about 50 people (including parents and grandparents) enjoyed the fun before tucking in to some party food for the children.
Both our Parent and Toddler Groups re-open in the New Year. Check this website for information. Verna and Frankie (who looks after The Ark), together with their helpers, Alma, Olive, Patti and Sylvia will be back, suitably rested and ready to go.
