We praise you, Lord, for the wonders of life on our planet, and we give you thanks for all that the earth provides for our food, shelter and well-being.
We commit to you those areas of the world where the resources of nature have been plundered and people’s livelihood threatened; and we pray for those who work to restore the land to the people who most need its harvest.
