This week it has been good to meet up again with old friends and former members of our Corps, Jim and Marion Black.

Due to this week-end being the August Bank Holiday Week-end there will be no evening meeting this Sunday, 27 August. The pictures show our Hall as it will be on Sunday evening!

As reported earlier our Scouts and Explorers have been on camp in Holland in an international event organised by The Salvation Army.

Last week saw the Divisional Summer School 2006 take place at Vinehall School, Robertsbridge.
It almost seems as though Captain Dean Pallant (Editor of Salvationist) has been reading last week’s Monday Spot where we praised God for the fact that He never takes a holiday.

From Saturday 22 July to Sunday 30 July, young musicians aged between 16 and 30 from all over the United Kingdom gathered in Bearwood College, Reading for a week full of music and fellowship.
International Scout and Guide camp, Almere, Netherlands
The Scouts and Explorers are currently on camp at The Salvation Army International Scout and Guide Camp at Almere in the Netherlands. The camp is hosted by the Dutch Territory and runs from 29th July to 4th August
