Everybody loves a wedding

And we are no exception!

Next Saturday (22 July) we shall be offering our congratulations to David Lockwood and Sarah Clayden who will be ‘tying the knot’ at The Salvation Army in Letchworth. David is our Assistant Young Peoples Band Leader and Sarah’s home is at Letchworth, although she has been living in the Medway Towns for several months. The couple will worship at Chatham Corps after the wedding.

We have no photos to show you today but pay us a visit late (probably very late) on Saturday or on Sunday morning for the first pictures. You may also leave your best wishes here.

  1. Hi David,

We met very briefly just twelve months ago. I had just finished a term at the ICO and my wife Daphne and I were spending some time with Murray and Verna. You were so kind to obtain tickets for us to the Trooping of the Colour - a day we will never forget. Well here we are at Murray and Verna’s again - just a brief visit while over seeing our youngest son and his wife - and they tell us you are about to get married.

We add our best wishes to you and Sarah to those of many others. Marriage is a gift from God and we pray that His blessing will be on you both now and into the future.

  2. We are looking forward to seeing David and Sarah get married on Saturday. All the best to you both.
Also looking forward to seeing Nigel in a suit and cravat! Make sure there is a picture of that on this site, Murray! (for those who don’t know, Nigel is David’s dad)

  3. Our very best wishes to David & Sarah. Have a great day on Saturday and a great life together.
