Major Leslie Horwood is a frequent visitor to Chatham Corps being the father of our Songster Leader, Adrian Horwood. We regard him as part of our extended corps family and Adrian has sent us this interesting ‘snippet’.

Is this ‘The Real Thing’?
As we promised, here are the first pictures of the wedding of David Lockwood and Sarah Clayden. The couple were married today (22 July) at The Salvation Army in Letchworth.
The last ‘Mummy & Me’ before the summer break was spent by the river Medway at the Strand play area, where the mums (and some dads) spent the morning enjoying the summer sunshine with their children.
On 16 September 2006 Chatham Band will be presenting a concert, with special guest David Childs, to celebrate 125 years of Christian music-making by the band.
And we are no exception! Next Saturday (22 July) we shall be offering our congratulations to David Lockwood and Sarah Clayden who will be ‘tying the knot’ at The Salvation Army in Letchworth.
Last Friday (14 July) we published an article about Mike Rowley and his recent visit to Serbia. We did not know then that, on that very day, Mike was being given an award by Rotary International.

Two important events in our Corps life were a feature of this week-end, the KAOS outing and the dedication of Isaac James Woodman
Mike Rowley, a Chatham salvationist, now works with Blythswood Care a charity with a depot in Medway helping to send aid to the Serbian people Mike with refurbished wheelchairs
An exaggeration? Not at all.
The speaker for this evening (10 July) was a Music Therapist, Ben Saul, who specialises in working with children and adults with learning disabilities.
