Engaging with the Community
The Rev Malcolm Duncan [Leader of Faithworks] visited Chatham Citadel on Sunday 7 May 2006 to speak to the corps membership about ‘how to engage with your community…’
Malcolm had been featured at Roots 2005 where he had delivered four excellent seminars on ‘church and the community’ and so was invited to Chatham to inspire, stimulate and motivate members of the corps to respond positively to the needs of their community. His message was enthusiastically received.
This initiative was organised by the ‘Service and Ministry Purpose Group’ at the corps.
Malcolm was also the guest preacher in the evening meeting, the theme of which was ‘Building a better world’.
